6/23/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved Upon arrival to the summer program setting, the client appeared to be in a content state as evidenced by greeting QMHP-C with moderate emotions. During morning social interactions, the client exhibited difficulty following directions given and remaining focused while eating breakfast with his peers. During midday socialization activities, the client exhibited difficulty following directions given and interacting with his peers and adults in a positive manner while at the park. During afternoon socialization activities, the client followed directions given by putting on his seat belt and sitting quietly while riding in the van. QMHP-C greeted the client upon arrival to the summer program. During morning socialization, QMHP-C redirected the client and reiterated the importance of following directions given and remaining focused. During midday socialization activities, QMHP-C redirected the client and reiterated the importance of following directions given and interacting with his peers and adults in a positive manner. During afternoon socialization activities, QMHP-C provided the client with verbal praise and encouraged him to continue following directions given. The client responded well towards the day as evidenced by engagement and participation. During morning social interactions, the client was unreceptive to redirection by crying and saying, “I want to go home.” The client was then able to calm down and agreed to follow directions given and to remain focused while eating breakfast with his peers. During midday socialization activities, the client was unreceptive to redirection by crying and throwing a tantrum. The client was then able to calm down and agreed to follow directions given and to interact with his peers and adults in a positive manner while at the park. During afternoon socialization activities, the client agreed to continue following directions given by putting on his seat belt and sitting quietly while riding in the van.
